Professor Barbara Caine’s Inaugural Lecture: History and the Individual Life

Professor Barbara Caine, Head of School of Philosophical and Historical Inquiry will be one of four new professorial appointments to take part in the Insights 2011: Inaugural Lecture Series. Professor Caine will explore the changing nature of autobiography and biography, and looks at new approaches to historical writing.

Alumni, colleagues and friends are invited to celebrate these appointments.
Professor Caine’s Lecture: Thursday 28 July 2011, 6pm
The 2011 inaugural lectures will be held in the Nicholson Museum, at 6pm.
Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm.
