Congratulations to the staff and students of Classics and Ancient History involved in the performance of Aristophanes’ Frogs in ancient Greek (with surtitles) held at the Nicholson Museum on Thursday, 23 September 2010. It was a fabulous evening. The Museum was packed to the rafters, the play was wonderful, the ambiance electric. I felt extremely privileged to have been in the audience. And it was a wonderful advertisement for what we do at the University – bringing ideas, imagination, students, academics, and the broader community together.
