Dr Martin Gibbs ‘Highly Commended’ in the VC’s teaching awards

Our sincere and hearty congratulations to Dr. Martin Gibbs (Archaeology), who has been ‘Highly Commended’ in the 2010 Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Outstanding Teaching.

The Dean tells us that the selection committee particularly acknowledged Martin’s ‘teaching innovation and his ability to engage and motivate students’, and we at SOPHI would like to express our thanks to Martin for his wonderful work in the Department of Archaeology. Congratulations Martin!
