2:00 pm to 5:30 pm (followed by refreshments)
Pharmacy Lecture Theatre N342
For the first time ever Sydney’s Early Career Researchers are putting on an afternoon featuring a selection of the exciting research they are pursuing at the University of Sydney.
The Early Career Research Showcase spans the broad research capacities of the University of Sydney, and spotlights the current work, achievements and aspirations of our youngest and brightest researchers in a series of short and accessible presentations.
The Early Career Research Showcase is a wonderful opportunity to dip into fascinating research presented by tomorrow’s leading researchers. It is also chance to be exposed to research outside your usual research area and, perhaps, identify potential for multi-disciplinary collaborations in future. After the formal program there is a chance to chat with the presenters and their peers over refreshments.
The Showcase will be opened by the Vice Chancellor, Dr Michael Spence.
For more information see the program: http://www.physics.usyd.edu.au/~tara/showcase/program.html abstracts: http://www.physics.usyd.edu.au/~tara/showcase/abstracts.html
Registration is free. Everyone with an interest in research is welcome to attend. Please register on-line [ http://www.physics.usyd.edu.au/~tara/showcase/registration.html ] by Friday, 26 September.
The Early Career Research Showcase was conceived and organized by our NHMRC and ARC early career research fellows in collaboration with Professor Carol Armour, Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research).
